Bloomberg's Multi-Asset Risk System (MARS) offers a comprehensive suite of risk management tools that delivers consistent, consolidated results across our clients entire firm. MARS is powered by Bloomberg's world-class pricing library, market data and mortgage cash flow engine enables front office, risk, middle office, collateral managers and other financial professionals to analyze their trading and investment portfolios, manage and mitigate their exposure and ready themselves for any turn of events.
What's the role?
Bloomberg's Risk Account Managers play an ever-increasing important role in the sustainability, branding and development of the MARS franchise. As a MARS account manager, you will be part of a dedicated portfolio risk sales team and expected to maximize customer retention and identify growth opportunities. You will be leading the vendor-client partnership, documenting customers' business model and technological requirements for each business line / asset class [vertical] and monitoring how Bloomberg's solutions are integrated with customers' technology stack [horizontal]. Throughout your extensive interaction with our clients, you will be expected to identify market trends, competitor landscape and technological improvements, helping sales and product management teams reviewing long-term strategy and vision.
We'll trust you to:
- Strategically look across your coverage to determine gaps in client's workflow to expand and deepen their usage of our Risk and derivatives Valuations solutions as well as across all Buyside Enterprise Solutions(AIM/PORT/RMS)
- Proactively find and monitor at-risk customers to defend the Bloomberg business
- Manage up-selling campaigns, both self-initiated to achieve business targets and management driven initiatives
- Articulate the features and benefits of Bloomberg enterprise level products in great detail, so that you can act as a partner for your customers.
- Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate, and address client needs
- Participate actively in new projects that drive the buy-side business and firm-wide initiatives
- Seek out additional ways to demonstrate leadership and make an impact, such as mentoring, involvement in training, running campaigns, and active involvement in product enhancement
You'll need to have:
- Previous account management experience buy-side risk management with an ambition and aptitude to move to a client facing role
- Consultative sales approach and experience building relationships with customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills in English
- The ability for regular travel
- Good understanding of the global buy-side risk regulatory landscape
We'd love to see:
- Demonstrated experience on Enterprise risk solutions including API
- Passion about FinTech & RiskReg and curious about new business and technological trends
- Professional working proficiency of an additional European language

Salary Range = 125,000 - 185,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
