  • Pay rate: $14/hr.
  • Location (City, State): Sandusky, OH
  • Anticipated Start Date: August 2026
  • End Date: November 2026

Position Summary:

The successful Custodian responsibilities, job duties, and major tasks are to assist with the day-to-day, event and post-event cleaning operations in trash removal and janitorial services at Sports Force Parks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the cleaning of the complex from a day-to-day, pre-event, during event, and post-event perspective.
  • Assist with all cleaning operations in trash removal and janitorial services.
  • Be reliable and ensure regular attendance for designated shifts.
  • Always deliver excellent work and maintain high standards, regardless of the situation.
  • Recognize and avoid all hazards which may include, but not limited to slipping, tripping, falling.
  • Perform job responsibilities in a professional manner, while projecting a positive Company image.
  • Complete all job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Possess cleaning product knowledge and proper usage of products.
  • Strong detail-orientation, with ability to problem-solve.
  • A friendly personality and excellent communication skills, strong initiative, and high-energy.
  • Absorb training and demonstrate the initiative, desire, and drive to help uphold the values established by the Sports Force Parks name and brand, working with staff to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Work well with management, staff, and customers.
  • Work Schedule will vary; nights and weekends will be required based on business needs.

Preferred:

  • Experience in custodial/housekeeping services field in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working at a sports venue or large meeting venues.
  • Knowledge of Bloodborne Pathogens regulations.

  • Stand and/or walk during entire shift in all types of weather conditions.
