Our mission is simple but ambitious: to make high-speed suburban delivery affordable, green, and safe. We design and build our own aviation-grade drones that deliver food, coffee, groceries, and more directly from local stores and vendors to people’s doors in just a few minutes.

We’re a team that Drive with Impact, are Safety Focused, and knows that the best ideas come from Team Players who show up as their Authentic Selves. We move fast, we are passionate about what we do, and we’re always pushing a growth mindset to be better in everything we do.

If you want to build world-changing technology with real-world impact (and have a bit of fun while doing it), you’ll love it here.

Welcome to Manna — where we deliver the future.

Role Purpose

Manna is launching drone delivery operations in the Tulsa area and needs a dedicated media, PR, and content lead to manage press relationships, draft external messaging across channels, and protect the company's reputation through a high-visibility launch.

◦ Execute PR campaigns in coordination with external PR firm.

◦ Manage the press list, campaign timelines, outreach, and media placements.

Content & Messaging Drafting (All Channels)

◦ Draft copy and content for the website and blog.

◦ Draft content for the Manna global LinkedIn page.

◦ Draft social media copy for local channels.

◦ Draft copy for billboard and out-of-home advertising.

◦ Ensure all external messaging reflects Manna's core pillars: safety, benefit, innovation, local commitment.

◦ Support communications around commercial partnership announcements and launch milestones.

Press Office Function (Day-to-Day)

◦ Support responding to inbound media queries.

◦ Draft press responses for approval.

◦ Coordinate interviews and briefings.

Reputation & Issues (Media-Facing)

◦ Provide advisory input on crisis and issues management from a media perspective.

◦ Lead reactive, media-facing response and message shaping under pressure.

◦ Stress-test messaging before release and support countering negative narratives from a media/PR angle.

What You'll Bring

• Strong writing and messaging instincts across multiple formats and channels; comfortable operating under time pressure.

• Experience managing press strategy alongside an external PR agency.

Experience & Requirements

• 5+ years in media relations, PR, content, or communications, ideally in a regulated, infrastructure, or consumer tech industry.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

What Success Looks Like at 6–12 Months

• Strong, functioning relationships with Tulsa and Oklahoma media.

• A clean track record of fast, accurate press response with no missed cycles.

• Consistent, on-brand content flowing across website, blog, LinkedIn, social, and advertising.
