Job description

Digital Marketing Account Manager

Blue Aspen is a digital marketing agency that helps high-growth companies scale through tailored strategies across SEO, paid media, and conversion-focused web experiences. We take a hands-on, data-driven approach to every client partnership — and we're looking for someone who wants to do the same.

About the Role

We're hiring a Digital Marketing Account Manager to serve as a trusted point of contact for our clients, guiding their digital marketing strategy and ensuring projects move forward with clarity and purpose. You'll collaborate closely with our team and leadership to manage client websites, improve SEO performance, execute campaigns, and deliver results that drive real business growth.

This is a junior-level role with serious room to grow. You'll get direct exposure to strategy, client relationships, and the full digital marketing toolkit — with mentorship to help you level up quickly.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for client accounts, building strong relationships and keeping projects on track
  • Help shape and execute digital marketing strategies across SEO, paid media, email, and content
  • Manage and update client websites (primarily WordPress), ensuring content is current and optimized
  • Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics and reporting tools, surfacing insights and recommendations
  • Coordinate across internal teams and clients to keep deliverables moving on schedule
  • Manage social media accounts and content calendars on behalf of clients
  • Create and edit visual assets using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
  • Maintain project timelines and tasks in tools like Asana, Trello, Notion, or ClickUp
Who You Are
  • Organized and proactive. You don't wait to be told what's next — you see what needs to happen and make it happen.
  • A strong communicator. You're professional, clear, and comfortable talking to clients. You know how to keep people informed without overwhelming them.
  • Curious about digital marketing. You have foundational experience and a genuine interest in learning more about SEO, paid media, analytics, and web strategy.
  • A problem-solver. When something isn't working, you look for solutions rather than waiting for direction.
  • Detail-oriented but big-picture aware. You can manage the small stuff without losing sight of the client's goals.
Requirements
  • 1–4 years of experience in digital marketing, account management, or a related role
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO fundamentals
  • Experience managing websites on WordPress or similar platforms
  • Proficiency with design tools (Canva required; Photoshop or Illustrator a plus)
  • Experience managing social media accounts and/or blog content for a business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Notion, ClickUp, or similar)
Bonus Points
  • Experience in a client-facing or account management role
  • Deeper knowledge of SEO strategy and internet marketing
  • Familiarity with HTML and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, etc.)
  • Design skills beyond basic asset creation
  • Leadership or team lead experience
Why Blue Aspen?
  • Grow with us. This role is built to evolve — into senior account management, strategy, or a leadership track as the agency grows.
  • Work that matters. You'll work directly with large consumer brands and see the impact of your efforts firsthand.
  • Learn from the best. Close mentorship from experienced marketing leadership who invest in your development.
  • Autonomy and flexibility. We trust our people to own their work and manage their time.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $51,000–$64,000 base, depending on experience
  • Health benefits included
  • Up to 21 PTO days per year
  • Hybrid work model — split your time between home and our office at Venture X in Chandler, AZ. It's a beautiful, modern workspace with free coffee and tea, large conference rooms, and private offices.
