Our client, a leading organization in digital asset custody and blockchain technology, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer - Expert to join their innovative team. As a Software Developer - Expert, you will be supporting the development and integration of blockchain infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a passion for cutting-edge technology, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.

Job Title: Software Developer - Expert

Location: Southlake, TX (On-site 4 days per week; Austin is an option)

Pay Range: $80

What's the Job?

  • Integrate Schwab systems with existing Layer1 blockchain networks, such as Ethereum-based or other enterprise-relevant blockchains.
  • Design and develop core blockchain infrastructure services, including indexers, event processors, and observability tooling.
  • Contribute to wallet architecture, transaction workflows, and integration with custody key management systems.
  • Support custody-related blockchain workflows, including on-chain transaction execution, event monitoring, and failure recovery.
  • Apply modern engineering practices to ensure blockchain services are reliable, testable, and observable, leveraging AI tools for accelerated development.

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on experience in blockchain or distributed ledger systems.
  • Strong understanding of Layer1 blockchain protocols and transaction lifecycle mechanics.
