Within our global environment, the Program Performance Management Specialist (Sr PPM Spec) provides contract/program cost and/or schedule management and analysis for new and mature programs typically valued up to $10M per year. As an individual contributor taking direction from a manager or team lead, you’ll develop the program time-phased cost and/or schedule baseline within the contract parameters in conjunction with the program team along with analyzing program performance (historical and predictive), monitor the contract/program Estimate at Complete and/or schedule completion date, and make recommendations to program manager and program leads.

NOTE: This is a Program Performance Management role (PPM / EVM) role...it is not a PM or PMP position.

Duties and Tasks:

  • This position is responsible for providing contract/program cost and/or schedule management and analysis for new and mature programs typically valued up to $10M per year
  • The analyst will develop the program time-phased cost and/or schedule baseline within the contract parameters in conjunction with the program team
  • The analyst will analyze program performance (historical and predictive), monitor the contract/program Estimate at Complete and/or schedule completion date, and make recommendations to program manager and program leads
  • The analyst is an individual contributor taking direction from manager or team lead
  • Assists in the development of a time-phased budget and/or schedule to meet all contract and program objectives
  • Collects and updates program performance data, prepares and analyzes historical and predictive measures, and reviews results and recommendations with program manager and program leads
  • Maintains and statuses the program schedule
  • Identifies and analyzes the program critical path and driving paths to schedule specific milestones
  • Reviews results and recommendations with program manager and program leads
  • Assists in preparation of program review documents and customer required documents
  • Coordinates contract/program Estimate At Complete (EAC), risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance organization as input into business financial commitments
  • Updates program time-phased budget and/or schedule and required documents associated with internal and contract changes
  • Fosters an environment of trust and teamwork builds collaborative relationships
  • Communicates professionally and effectively
  • Works on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Interfaces with multiple IPT leads and PMs primarily at a single location
  • May be a team contributor on an EVMS requirement program

Required:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint)
