Team Lead

specializing in Digital Tax Administration and e-Invoicing/e-Reporting to join our dynamic Indirect Tax team. This role focuses on implementing cutting-edge IT solutions across leading platforms such as SAP DRC, Pagero, Edicom, and others, tailored to meet the constantly evolving global e-invoicing and statutory reporting requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects with major market players, leveraging modern technologies to design, develop, and deploy tax technology solutions that enhance compliance, transparency, and operational efficiency.

Your key responsibilities

Understand how to define the solution, coordinate the necessary technical resources, and deliver a finished product that fulfills the client's goals and tax requirements, including:

  • Understand localization requirements for business processes and provide expert guidance on SAP DRC and other 3rd party providers related to electronic documents and statutory reporting.
  • Design and implement solutions to ensure compliance with ERP best practices for e-invoicing and other document requirements across a variety of ERP platforms
  • Analyze ERP data structures and map them to government portal requirements (e.g., SDI, ANAF, KSEF, Peppol formats) for each country, implementing necessary data transformations, conversions, and validations.
  • Provide hands‑on expert support to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of e‑Invoicing solutions.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting to optimize the performance of e‑Invoicing solutions in conjunction with functional teams and end‑user groups.
  • Develop and configure connectors, mappings, transformations, and workflows within native and 3rd party products to facilitate seamless data exchange between ERP systems and government portals.
  • Monitor product roadmaps and stay updated on new legal mandates related to ERP localization solutions.
Skills and attributes for success To qualify for this role, you must have
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project implementation experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with e‑Invoicing solutions and configuration.
  • Approved technical certification, CPA license or membership to state Bar or progress to attaining those mentioned
  • Solid understanding of global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX) and their implications for ERP systems.
  • Proven track record in managing ERP projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to generate customer deliverables such as solution presentations, status reports, and configuration documents with a focus on quality.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams and managing projects across various geographies.
  • Familiarity with project metrics reporting and dashboards.
Ideally, you will have

  • Experience in configuring Third party tax engines like ONESOURCE or Vertex.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $261,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,200 to $297,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team‑led and leader‑enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
