The Blockchain Senior Associate is primarily responsible for supporting and teaming with various leaders in Innovation in order to help the firm achieve its innovation objectives. This individual will lead opportunities and have the responsibility of designing and developing applications in different Blockchain platforms including but not limited to Hyperledger, Ethereum, Bitcoin and other distributed computing environments to deliver solutions to line of business partners. This individual will lead blockchain initiatives as assigned and act as innovation liaison for key stakeholders, internal leaders, subject matter experts and external parties.

This Blockchain Senior Associate will act with a sense of urgency and collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and remove roadblocks that impede time to value on client engagements. This individual will research, design and/or develop blockchain technology including frameworks, distributed ledger protocols and consensus mechanisms. In addition, this individual will need to be comfortable with ambiguity, and be adept in critical thinking and problem solving in order to bring new ideas to the forefront. The Blockchain Senior Associate will need to be organized and have the ability to track and follow up on a large number of ongoing competing priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Blockchain Development

a) Partner with individuals or teams to design and develop blockchain and digital asset solutions

B) Drive the execution of the blockchain and digital asset engagements and analyze findings

  • Identify resources& necessary technology
  • Work with vendor concierge to bring in new vendor technology
  • Default toward action even when not in scope of responsibility, control or influence

c) Drive deployment and testing, evaluate performance, detect anomalies and implement enhancements to blockchain solutions

d) Partner with team to present findings to appropriate leaders

e) Agility and adaptability to change approaches and priorities while still being able to deliver tangible results

  • Face problems that are difficult, moderately complex, or undefined and determine a path forward.
  • Create innovative ways to convey complex or ambiguous information or ideas

f) Facilitating the development of solutions to problems, improve processes, systems, or products to enhance outcomes

2. Support line of business teams in client engagements

  • Support development and execution of blockchain and digital asset strategy and vision
  • Facilitate development of proposal with line of businessowners
  • Assist in developing public chain, side chain, private chain, smart contracts and other logic to establish supply layer of cloud service delivery system
  • Share successful engagements across the enterprise to determine other potential use cases

3. Engage in blockchain and digital education for the firm

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $95,400 - $163,900

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
