Job description

Cooperates with: Production and Operations
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and physically capable Block Material Handler to support our logistics, shipping, and field operations. This hands-on role involves loading and unloading heavy materials (our MIRATECH products) assembling and building, performing general labor to maintain smooth, safe, and organized day-to-day operations.
Able to be comfortable working in physically demanding environments, both indoors and outdoors, and will maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using manual lifting or equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies).
  • Position blocks, pallets, and related materials securely to prevent damage during transport.
  • Verify product type, count, and condition during loadout and inbound receipt.
  • Assist drivers with securing loads using straps, tarps, or other equipment as needed.
Assembly & Material Handling
  • Assemble and stack blocks, components, or materials for staging or shipment.
  • Wrap and label pallets to ensure products are properly prepared for delivery or storage.
  • Maintain clear and organized work zones for efficient material flow.
General Labor Duties
  • Clean and maintain work areas including field site, warehouse, or assigned job site.
  • Perform basic maintenance, or assist tradespeople as needed.
  • Operate small tools or power equipment in accordance with safety training.
  • Support inventory counts, restocking, and order preparation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, yard, construction, or similar physical labor role.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform tasks throughout the shift.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability.
  • Attention to safety procedures and physical awareness on active job sites.
