Job description

Schedule: Full-time, 40โ€“60 hours/week
About Us
SeaState Land Services is a fast-growing contractor specializing in landscaping, grading, concrete, and commercial construction throughout Southwest Florida. Weโ€™re expanding our team and looking for reliable, experienced block masons to join us on major residential and commercial projects.
1) Block Mason (8 openings)
Responsibilities
  • Lay CMU/block for walls and structures per plans/specs
  • Cut block, mix/spread mortar, tool joints, grout as needed
  • Maintain line, level, plumb, and quality finish
  • Work safely and keep job site clean/organized
Experience & Requirements
  • 2+ years block/CMU experience preferred (residential or commercial)
  • Able to use masonry tools and read basic layout/prints
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in Florida conditions

2) Block Crew Lead / Foreman (2 openings)
Responsibilities
  • Lead a block crew daily: assign tasks, set pace, and maintain quality
  • Read plans/layout, coordinate materials, and keep production on schedule
  • Communicate with superintendent/PM on progress, needs, and issues
  • Enforce safety, correct workmanship, and train/coach crew members
Experience & Requirements
  • 3โ€“5+ years block/CMU experience with lead/foreman experience preferred
  • Strong layout skills (line/level/plumb), production mindset, and problem-solving
  • Reliable transportation required (ability to get to various job sites)
  • Dependable, professional, and able to manage a crew

3) Block Laborer (6 openings)
Responsibilities
  • Support masons: stage block, mix mortar, move materials, keep area clean
  • Assist with basic block work as directed (cutting, carrying, prep)
  • Load/unload materials and maintain a safe, organized job site
Experience & Requirements
  • 6+ months experience around block/masonry (required)
  • Willing to do physical work outdoors and learn the trade
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet all day
