Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a crew in the installation of paver patios, segmental block retaining walls, and other hardscape features
  • Oversee and participate in landscape construction and maintenance tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to company standards
  • Operate equipment such as skid steer loaders (MT-52 or equivalent) and mini excavators
  • Utilize tools including cut-off saws, laser levels, and zip levels
  • Read and interpret building plans and drawings to guide project execution
  • Apply proper planting techniques and identify plant species as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment and model a can-do attitude
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a landscaping crew leader, with references
  • Experience with paver patio and segmental block retaining wall installation
  • Basic masonry skills
  • Knowledge of proper planting techniques and plant identification
  • Experience with pond or water feature installation (preferred, not required)
  • Ability to operate skid steer loaders, mini excavators, and related equipment
