As a Physical Therapist at Great Blaze, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Evaluating and treating patients recovering from various conditions, including injury, illness, and surgery, in an onsite rehabilitation setting.
• Developing customized treatment plans that incorporate a range of techniques such as manual therapy, guided exercises, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Tracking patient progress through meticulous documentation, which facilitates adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Conducting regular evaluations to modify therapeutic goals and provide constructive feedback to patients and their families regarding treatment efficacy.
• Pursuing opportunities for ongoing education, attending workshops, and engaging with professional societies to remain current with evolving practices and research.

Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, including children, adults, and seniors, each presenting unique physical challenges and diagnoses. You will play a pivotal role in supporting patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By focusing on individualized care, you will empower patients to regain their strength and independence.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida state license to practice physical therapy.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technologies to track patient data.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others achieve their health goals.

While prior experience is not required, candidates with a minimum of two years in a clinical setting are preferred. Experience in home care or outpatient rehabilitation settings will be advantageous as it equips you with the skills needed to navigate diverse patient challenges effectively.
