Total Staffed Beds: 379

Level II Trauma Center

Float Required:Yes
Note: To sister ICUs (SICU, CICU, NSICU)

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Minimum 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

  • CRRT
    Chemotherapy administration

Special Equipment:

  • CRRT (Prismaflex/Prismax)
  • Masimo hemodynamic monitoring
  • Ambu bronch/intubation equipment
  • Verathon bladder scanner
  • Spacelabs patient monitoring

Patient Diagnoses:

  • Endocrine disorders (DKA/HHS, hypoglycemia)
  • Respiratory Disorders (COPD, ARDS, Respiratory failure/distress)
  • GI/GU disorders
  • Renal disorders (AKI, CKD, renal failure)
  • Suicide ideation/Substance Overdose
  • MODS
  • Sepsis/Septic Shock
  • Post Cardiac Arrest
  • Stroke

Requirements

1 year experience

Active TX RN License

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required

Travel experience required
