Our diverse client base includes external institutional asset managers, pensions, insurance companies, banks, and governments around the world. The BRS business is the natural evolution of BlackRock's long-standing investment in developing sophisticated and highly integrated analytics and systems for managing money.

About Aladdin Client Engagement

Aladdin Client Engagement is part of the Aladdin Business within BlackRock Solutions. The teamis responsible formaximizing the value of the Aladdin product through engagement, education, and close partnership with clients. This is a client-facing role that requires building deep and highly effective partnerships with clients to understand and solve problems as a trusted consultant, problem solver, and business partner.

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic relationship manager who can bridge institutional client relationship management with knowledge of client industry needs, financial markets, and the broader Aladdin ecosystem. The successful candidate will help maximize BlackRock's client value proposition, advance client outcomes, and deepen enterprise adoption of Aladdin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and expand relationships with clients' senior management, including CIOs, CROs, CFOs, COOs, CTOs, and Heads of Desks, to understand businessobjectivesand help clients use Aladdinexpertiseto achieve their firm's goals.

  • Connect client executives with senior BlackRock leaders whenappropriate tofurther strengthen the overall relationship and helpfacilitateopportunities for BlackRock asset management mandates.

  • Cultivate and mobilize an extensive network of BlackRock partners across functions to orchestrate holistic, enterprise-wide solutions tailored to each client's strategic needs.

  • Understand each client's business challenges and propose Aladdin-enabled solutions that drive value and adoption.

  • Assistclients inleveragingAladdin to its fullest across the entire investment and portfolio lifecycle.

  • Own the commercial success and financial outcomes for clients, including renewals, new product subscriptions, and changes to fee structure.

  • Partner with Business Development and clients toidentifyupsell and cross-sell opportunities foradditionalAladdin products andservices, anddrive those opportunities to successful outcomes.

  • Ensure client product feedback is communicated to Product Managers and work with Product Management and other internal stakeholders to guide and align future development by bringing the voice of the client to the table.

  • Stay current on industry trends to help clients stay ahead of changing conditions and further strengthen standing as a trusted advisor.

  • Engage with clients to define strategic and tactical initiatives to resolve issues, expand adoption, and embed Aladdin. Partner with internal value delivery teams to ensure execution from projectinceptionthrough realization of the desired future state.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of work experience in financial services or consulting.

  • Undergraduatedegree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering preferred.

  • Strong interest in FinTech and financial institutions, including banks and insurance companies, and/or asset management.

  • Strong background in buy-side investment management, risk management, and/or middle-office workflows preferred.

  • Strong understanding of fixed income and equity securities, markets, and their operational workflows; knowledge of alternative investments and their lifecycle is a plus.

  • High levelof comfort with complexity across quantitative, technological, and process-oriented topics.

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts simply and clearly to a range of audiences.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with SQL, UNIX, BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, similar tools, and/or Aladdin is a plus.

  • Proficiencywith commonly used AI tools, such as Copilot and ChatGPT, and customer relationship management platforms.

  • CFA, FRM, CIMA, or CAIA certification is a plus but not

Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance. For Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$132,000.00 - USD$180,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
