Hiring Service Technicians
About The Diesel Mechanic Job:

Service Technicians are responsible for: troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, transmissions and other various components found on all heavy-duty truck makes and models.

Service Technician Benefits:
  • Up to $1,500 per week, paid biweekly
  • Typical Hours: Monday - Friday (7 am - 3:30 pm)
  • Second Shift in Lancaster: Monday - Friday (3:30 pm - midnight)
  • $5 shift differential
  • $3,000 sign on bonus
  • Uniforms provided
  • Quarterly Performance Incentives: Based on department performance and profitability

Service Technician Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of overall experience, with 2 years in a dealership environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • PACCAR, Cummins, CAT & ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
  • Valid State Inspection License is a plus, but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Accurately diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection
  • Document work in progress on repair orders
  • Perform repairs according to dealership standards and factory specs
  • Road test vehicle, if necessary.
