Full-Time Surgical Tech

At Maple Lawn Surgery Center, we take pride in delivering exceptional outpatient surgical care in a compassionate and patient‑focused environment. Established in 2009 by a team of hospital and clinical professionals, our center was built on a simple mission to provide the same high‑quality, comfortable care we would want for our own families.

Licensed by the State of Maryland, we specialize in a wide range of procedures including pain management, orthopedics, podiatry, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, spine, and sports medicine. Our commitment to personalized service and clinical excellence has made us a trusted choice for patients and providers across the local community.

The Surgical Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and also assists sterile processing by decontaminating, processing and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical equipment. This individual maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.

Surgical Tech experience is required for this role.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Certification as required by state and/or center
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
  • Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
