Job description

All of Creation Pet Hotel is seeking a manager/supervisor for our 24 hour pet boarding facility and doggie daycare in Chantilly, Virginia.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing a team of staff members.
  • Delegating responsibilities to the appropriate staff members.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the facility.
  • Maintaining the productivity and organization of the business.
  • Proactively seeking ways to improve the business.
  • Taking an active part in the care and comfort of the animals.
  • Helping with feeding, cleaning, and giving baths, etc. 
  • Facilitating playtime with the animals in the playrooms as needed.
  • Managing the front desk operations.

Some weekend and/or early morning or late night shifts may be required. Animal care experience is a plus, but not required. We just require that you love animals, truly care about their well being and are comfortable caring for various types of animals (primarily dogs and cats, but could include rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, etc.).
Requirements:
  • Management and/or supervisor experience is required. 
  • Must be comfortable caring for groups of dogs with varied personalities. 
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and monitoring dog behavior. 
  • Must also have good communication skills and computer skills in order to interact with clients and schedule services, check them in and out and process payments, etc.
