We're hiring a Consulting Senior Associate, Environmental Health and Safety - Seattle Area based in Washington, with flexibility to work from any of the following locations: Redmond, Bellevue, Seattle, Everett, Edmonds. In this role, you'll collaborate with innovative clients and help shape safer workplaces.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in in environmental science, safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related scienceORequivalent work experience (2 years = 1 year education).

  • 1+ year of relevant experience in EHS compliance i.e., stormwater, behavior-based safety, etc.

  • Ability to travel across the Puget Sound area including occasional overnight stays and/or daily client site visits based on business needs.

  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in cross-functional teams.

  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Experience with industry such as tech, bio-pharma, manufacturing.

  • Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.

  • Knowledge of Washington-specific EHS regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite client support to address pressing EHS challenges.

  • Provide support and/or conduct EHS compliance audits, including reviewing regulatory requirements, identifying gaps, documenting findings, and supporting corrective action planning.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

  • Perform safety audits, assessments, and safety process improvements in areas such as:

    • Behavior-Based Safety

    • Chemical & Lab Safety

    • Electrical Safety / NFPA 70E

    • Industrial Hygiene

    • Robotics Safety

    • Process Hazard Assessments

    • LOTO

  • Assist in developing and implementing programs for HazComm, IIPP, PSM, and more.

  • Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are in place.

  • Assist in managing projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.

For theConsulting Senior Associate, Environmental Health and Safety position, theanticipatedannual base pay is$80,168.40 - $90,500(USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay subject to the sole discretion of ERM and its policies and procedures (casual and fixed term/flex force employees arenot bonuseligible).
