What would you do as a Strength Coach

As a Full-Time Strength Coach at Hyperion Biotechnology, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing innovative strength and conditioning programs tailored for our Soldiers. Your role will involve observing, demonstrating, and correcting training and exercise techniques to ensure optimal performance and safety. You'll coordinate the scheduling of facilities for government-approved courses and training sessions, while maintaining a seamless operation of the equipment that guarantees a secure environment for your participants. Tracking and documenting the progression of Soldiers and their units will be crucial, as you will regularly recommend enhancements for the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System, making a significant impact on their overall wellness and readiness. To thrive as a Full-Time Strength Coach on the US Army's Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program, you will need a diverse skill set and a strong educational background. A Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited college is essential, along with a minimum of three years of relevant strength and conditioning experience within the last five years. This experience can include internships or graduate work, with opportunities for waivers available for honorably discharged service members or military spouses.

Holding current certifications, such as the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association or the Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, is crucial. Additionally, Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications with Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are required, ensuring safety in high-pressure situations. Candidates must also pass drug screenings and background checks, hold US citizenship, and refrain from felony convictions.
