Employment Litigation Associate – Irvine, CA

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join their Irvine office. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled litigator with experience handling wage and hour class/collective actions and PAGA cases to join a dynamic and highly regarded employment law practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage wage and hour litigation matters, including class actions, collective actions, and PAGA cases
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings
  • Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment and class certification
  • Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel on employment litigation matters
  • Work independently and collaboratively to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • 4-7 years of employment litigation experience, with a strong focus on wage and hour class/collective actions and PAGA cases
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-oriented environments
  • Admitted to the California Bar (required)
  • Candidates with strong litigation backgrounds in other practice areas and a demonstrated interest in employment law are encouraged to apply
