The Position

Join our dynamic Medical Strategy team for a 1-year internship where you will play a key role in accelerating operational success and keeping our core medical initiatives running smoothly. As a Medical Strategy Intern, you will collaborate across therapeutic areas to co-create scientific solutions and enable better outcomes for patients faster. This full-time position offers hands-on experience, direct mentorship, and broad cross-functional exposure to launch your career in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Opportunity

  • Redesign and maintain internal team knowledge sites, digital file architecture, and onboarding roadmaps to streamline cross-functional workflows.

  • Explore and implement emerging AI productivity tools to optimize team operations and internal resource accessibility.

  • Conduct desktop market research on therapeutic trends, clinical trials, and healthcare ecosystem mapping to support strategic medical decisions.

  • Monitor, track, and report on key operational metrics, including medical inquiries and grant requests, to identify emerging industry trends.

  • Collaborate with internal partners to publish digital scientific communications on healthcare professional portals and support medical congress email campaigns.

  • Manage funding support logistics by facilitating documentation, contracting, and payment processes for external medical requests.

  • Co-lead internal team engagement initiatives and gain structured mentorship from experienced medical strategy leaders.

Who You Are

  • You are a current pursuing a Master degree in Biotechnology (MBiotech), Master in Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization (MBDC) or closely related fields.

  • You possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

  • You display excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to thrive in a team environment.

  • You are self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable challenging ideas to drive continuous improvement.

  • Term & Location:12-month full-time internship starting January 2027 in Mississauga, ON (Hybrid model: minimum 3 days in office)

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 57416,00 and 75358,50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
