Job Title: Facilities Engineer Intern (Camden, AR)

Job Location: Camden, Arkansas
Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week
Job Description:
Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, construction and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions and guidelines, required completion schedule, and execution feasibility. Utilizes AutoCad software to develop complete construction documents for a wide range of Facility projects. Coordinates with architecture and engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets, project justification, statement of work documents and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Responsible for managing to approved budgets and approving contracts and purchases. Oversees the construction and installation to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, cost and schedule.
Essential Functions:
- Works under supervision to set objectives for own job area. .
- Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.
- Work consists of making basic adjustments to systems and processes to solve problems.
- Identifies, defines and addresses general problems that are typically within the immediate job area.
- Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis.
Qualifications:
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in engineering
