Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Golang and Kubernetes to join our client's Edge Platform team. This role will contribute directly to clientโ€™s NextGen solution and help manage the entire platform infrastructure that supports updates across stores, registers, and self-checkouts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable Golang-based applications in a Kubernetes environment
  • Take full ownership of features from design through development, testing, and deployment
  • Integrate and manage RESTful APIs and ensure robust communication with downstream systems
  • Work with containerized applications at scale, ensuring high reliability and performance
  • Diagnose and debug issues within the platform and third-party integrations
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver updates to our store and checkout systems
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline development, and process automation
  • Help shape the future of a product that is still in pre-production, with launch expected in the coming year

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 4+ years of experience working with Golang and Kubernetes
  • 4+ years of experience integrating with REST APIs
  • Proven ability to work with containerized applications at scale
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in diagnosing and debugging system-level issues
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)
