Our client seeks a Data Analyst with strong backend data engineering capabilities to connect diverse data sources and modernize analytics. The role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines, orchestration, and APIs, while partnering with a front-end developer and senior team member. The team will revamp advanced Power BI dashboards and enable reliable analytics for clinical research initiatives, including continuous glucose monitoring studies.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop data analysis plans for clinical trials.
  • Apply statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
  • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Partner with team members to interpret data and provide insights that inform decisions.
  • Develop and implement data governance to support consistency and shared understanding.
  • Stay current with research and industry developments in continuous glucose monitoring devices.
  • Identify opportunities for digital transformation in clinical trials.
  • Develop and implement digital solutions to streamline data collection, analysis, and visualization.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance patient recruitment, engagement, and retention using digital technologies.
  • Analyze and interpret data from digital solutions to improve trial outcomes.

Experience Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced Python programming, including development, testing, and maintenance of analytics automation.
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and pipeline scheduling.
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including querying, data modeling, and optimization.
  • Experience developing or integrating APIs using FastAPI.
  • Advanced Power BI preferred. Tableau acceptable as an alternative.
  • Background in mid-sized to large companies is preferred. Experience in CRO, pharma, biotech, or medical device environments is beneficial.

  • BS degree.
