IQVIA Biotech est a la recherche d'un(e) gestionnaire d'essais cliniques possedant de l'experience en oncologie et a l'echelle mondiale.

Les responsables cliniques jouent un role essentiel dans la realisation des essais cliniques. En etroite collaboration avec les equipes cliniques, ils contribuent a ameliorer la vie des patients en accelerant la commercialisation de nouveaux medicaments. Membre cle de l'equipe de projet, le gestionnaire clinique est responsable de la realisation des etudes cliniques afin de repondre aux exigences contractuelles, conformement aux procedures operationnelles normalisees (POS), aux politiques et aux pratiques en vigueur. Il assure la realisation des essais cliniques pour les clients, pilote les equipes cliniques et collabore avec les chefs de projet et les autres equipes fonctionnelles pour garantir le respect des exigences de realisation a chaque etape.

Fonctions essentielles:

Assurer la realisation des essais cliniques des projets assignes, conformement aux exigences reglementaires (Conference internationale sur l'harmonisation (ICH) - Bonnes pratiques cliniques (BPC), protocole), aux exigences du client (contrat) et aux exigences internes (politiques, procedures operationnelles standard (POS), plans de projet).

S'assurer que les objectifs de recrutement des projets sont atteints et s'assurer de la mise en place de strategies de recrutement appropriees.

Contribuer a l'elaboration du plan de gestion des risques du projet et gerer les risques cliniques tout au long de son cycle de vie.

Assurer la qualite des essais cliniques en identifiant les normes et exigences de qualite, en planifiant les modalites d'evaluation de la conformite et en assurant le suivi et la gestion des problemes de qualite clinique. Gerer les aspects cliniques du financement du projet, y compris l'estimation a l'achevement (EAC). Comprendre la portee de la prestation clinique et elaborer des plans pour sa mise en uvre. Suivre et gerer les modifications par rapport a l'estimation a l'achevement (EAC) de reference et identifier les occasions de services supplementaires ou les travaux hors perimetre.

Identifier les intervenants cliniques du projet et gerer les intervenants internes et externes grace a une communication efficace et une gestion rigoureuse des problemes.

Collaborer avec l'equipe clinique pour atteindre les objectifs fixes. Faire rapport aux intervenants internes et externes conformement aux exigences du projet.

Planifier les ressources et les talents de l'equipe clinique. Encadrer l'equipe clinique au niveau du projet afin d'assurer sa reussite grace a la mise en place de plans operationnels de haute qualite, a des formations et a des accompagnements adaptes.

Animer des reunions d'equipe regulieres et communiquer efficacement pour atteindre les objectifs.

Contribuer au perfectionnement professionnel en fournissant une retroaction aux gestionnaires de premiere ligne de l'equipe clinique sur leur rendement par rapport aux taches du projet.

Participer, s'il y a lieu, a l'elaboration de la strategie de prestation clinique pour les propositions. Participer a la preparation et aux reunions de soutenance des offres. Elaborer et presenter le plan d'operations cliniques en partenariat avec le developpement des affaires et la direction de projet. Peut encadrer et former les nouveaux collegues lors de leur integration.

Peut agir a titre de responsable clinique principal(e) aux cotes d'autres responsables cliniques pour la realisation d'essais cliniques internationaux de grande envergure.

Peut participer aux visites de sites, le cas echeant, pour soutenir la realisation des projets.

Qualifications

Baccalaureat en sciences de la sante ou autre discipline scientifique requise.

5 ans d'experience en recherche/monitoring clinique ou combinaison equivalente de formation et d'experience requise.

Connaissance de base des pratiques et de la terminologie de la gestion de projet requise.

Bonne connaissance des exigences reglementaires applicables a la recherche clinique, notamment les Bonnes Pratiques Cliniques (BPC) et les lignes directrices de la Conference Internationale sur l'Harmonisation (ICH).

Solides connaissances des protocoles et des aspects therapeutiques.

Comprendre les aspects financiers des projets.

IQVIA Biotech is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager with oncology experience and a global perspective.

Clinical Trial Managers play a vital role in the conduct of clinical trials. Working closely with clinical teams, they contribute to improving patients' lives by accelerating the commercialization of new medicines. As a key member of the project team, the Clinical Trial Manager is responsible for conducting clinical studies to meet contractual requirements, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and best practices. They ensure the successful execution of clinical trials for clients, lead clinical teams, and collaborate with project managers and other functional teams to guarantee adherence to execution requirements at every stage.

Essential Functions:

Ensure the execution of clinical trials for assigned projects, in accordance with regulatory requirements (International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) - Good Clinical Practice (GCP), protocol), client requirements (contract), and internal requirements (policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), project plans).

Ensure that project recruitment targets are met and implement appropriate recruitment strategies.

Contribute to the development of the project risk management plan and manage clinical risks throughout its lifecycle.

Ensure the quality of clinical trials by identifying quality standards and requirements, planning compliance assessment methods, and monitoring and managing clinical quality issues.

Manage the clinical aspects of project funding, including the Estimate at Completion (EAC). Understand the scope of clinical delivery and develop plans for its implementation. Track and manage changes to the baseline Estimate at Completion (EAC) and identify opportunities for additional services or out-of-scope work.

Identify and manage the project's clinical stakeholders, both internal and external, through effective communication and rigorous issue management.

Collaborate with the clinical team to achieve established objectives. Report to internal and external stakeholders as required by the project.

Plan the clinical team's resources and talent. Coach the clinical team at the project level to ensure its success through the implementation of high-quality operational plans, appropriate training, and mentoring.

Lead regular team meetings and communicate effectively to achieve objectives.

Contribute to professional development by providing feedback to the clinical team's frontline managers on their performance against project tasks.

Participate, as appropriate, in the development of the clinical delivery strategy for proposals. Participate in the preparation and presentation of proposals. Develop and present the clinical operations plan in partnership with business development and project management.

May mentor and train new colleagues during their onboarding.

May act as a lead clinical manager alongside other clinical managers for the execution of large-scale international clinical trials.

May participate in site visits, as required, to support project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health sciences or another scientific discipline required.

5 years of experience in clinical research/monitoring or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Basic knowledge of project management practices and terminology required.

Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to clinical research, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines.

In-depth knowledge of protocols and therapeutic aspects.

Understanding of the financial aspects of projects.
