Job description

Manufacturing Technician II/III – 1st Shift

Location: Carlsbad, CA
Pay: $21–$27/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM start
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a dependable Manufacturing Technician II/III to support production in a regulated life sciences environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manufacturing operations following cGMP, GDP, ISO 13485, and SOP requirements
  • Operate production equipment, including pipettes, balances, pH meters, and heat sealers
  • Complete production documentation and ERP transactions accurately
  • Inspect products and packaging for quality
  • Monitor equipment and report alarms or issues
  • Clean and sanitize manufacturing areas and equipment
  • Assist with materials, training, investigations, and process improvements

Qualifications:

Technician II:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of cGMP experience; associate degree in a related field; or high school diploma with 3+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience

Technician III:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of cGMP experience; associate degree with 3+ years of related experience; or high school diploma with 5+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience

Candidates must have regulated manufacturing experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or a similar industry. Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow detailed SOPs are required. NetSuite or ERP experience is a plus.
