CorDx is a leading biotechnology company that specializes in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of innovative diagnostic solutions. We are seeking an experienced Machine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with various injection molding machine models and a solid understanding of plastic product production processes. This role requires a proactive, independent professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair:
    • Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
    • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
    • Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and power tools
    • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on molds and machinery
  • Operation and Adjustment:
    • Operate and adjust injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance
    • Follow production processes and quality standards to ensure high-quality output
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Identify and resolve issues with machinery in a timely manner to minimize downtime
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with molding machines and molds
    • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to solve complex problems
    • Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and solve technical problems
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
    • Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
    • Provide regular reports on machine performance and issues to supervisors
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with HQ in China
    • Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed

Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred
    • Minimum of 3-4 years of proven experience as a machine technician, specifically with injection molding machines (Haitian, Tongtian, and Guangsu are a plus)
    • Solid understanding of plastic product production processes
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces
    • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is preferred
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with specific machinery or equipment used in biotechnology or diagnostics industries
    • Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations
    • Plastic injection machine experience is a plus
