AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Exigences minimales:

  • B. Sc. En Sciences pharmaceutiques, Chimie, pharmacologie ou biotechnologie.

  • Etudiante M.Sc ou PhD. de l'universite d'Ottawa

  • Solide Connaissances pratiques en biochimie et en techniques de laboratoire (dosage, pH, spectrometrie)

  • Capacite a expliquer des concepts complexes de maniere claire et comprehensible.

  • Aptitude a travailler en equipe et a communiquer efficacement avec les etudiants et le personnel academique.

  • Connaissance des protocoles de securite en laboratoire et Formation en Sante et securite UO validee

  • Un bon niveau de Francais ecrit et parle

Nature du travail :

  • Soutenir le professeur et le technologue dans la preparation des laboratoires et tester les experiences a l'avance

  • Aider les etudiants a realiser des experiences en laboratoire et fournir des explications supplementaires et des demonstrations pratiques

  • Superviser les etudiants durant les sessions de travaux pratiques en laboratoire de galenique d'une duree de 2 heures

  • Assurer que les etudiants respectent les protocoles de securite et utilisent correctement les equipements de laboratoire

  • Participation a l'evaluation des etudiants (correction rapport, note sur les comportements et questions durant les laboratoires)
