Job Title: Investment Associate/Sr. Investment Associate
Location: San Francisco, CA
Position Overview: Pivotal Life Sciences is seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate to join our dynamic investment team. This role uniquely integrates finance, therapeutics investment research, and artificial intelligence within the biotechnology sector, focusing on leveraging data science to enhance investment decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in finance, investment analysis, and a strong understanding of AI applications in financial contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and due diligence on investment opportunities in the biotechnology sector, focusing on AI-driven insights.
  2. Financial Modeling: Build, update, and maintain comprehensive financial models to evaluate the viability of potential investments, incorporating AI techniques where applicable.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with senior investment professionals, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate AI and analytics into investment processes and decision-making.
  4. Data Science Contribution: Contribute to the development of predictive algorithms and AI models that inform investment strategies and improve portfolio performance.
