About the Position

  • Position Title:  Manufacturing Associate I
  • Location:  Seattle, WA
  • Employment Type:  Full-time, nonexempt | On-site
  • Position Pay Range:  $22.00 - $29.00 per hour (based on knowledge, skills, and experience)

What You'll Do

  • Execute routine manufacturing tasks following SOPs and GMP requirements.
  • Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions for production.
  • Maintain accurate batch records and documentation.
  • Operate and monitor basic and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Assemble, label, and package diagnostic kit components.
  • Support ELISA processes such as plate coating and reagent preparation.
  • Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0-2 years of laboratory or diagnostic assay kit manufacturing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Basic laboratory knowledge and comfort working with equipment

Preferred:

  • Experience with ELISA or immunoassay techniques
  • Familiarity with GMP or regulated environments
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Work Environment

  • GMP-compliant manufacturing and laboratory setting
  • Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) environment with required PPE
  • Work may include standing for extended periods and handling biological materials
  • Occasional lifting (up to ~30 lbs with assistance)
