About the Role:

The Brand Designer is a junior level role supporting the development and execution of high-quality, on-brand creative across print, email, and broader marketing channels. Working closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional marketing, brand, and product partners, this role translates creative briefs into clear, effective visual solutions while helping maintain consistency across the company's growing portfolio of brands, including Tru Niagen and Niagen Plus.

Core Expectations:

Brand & Print Design

  • Create high-quality brand and print assets, including packaging updates, product inserts, marketing collateral, and sales materials.
  • Maintain and support brand consistency across print, email, and broader marketing touchpoints within the brand portfolio, including Tru Niagen and Niagen Plus.
  • Assist in evolving and applying brand guidelines, templates, and design standards across the portfolio.
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready creative files and support quality control throughout the design and production process.

Email Design

  • Design and produce marketing and lifecycle email creative, including layout, imagery, and integration of approved copy.
  • Adapt and optimize email templates across campaigns and platforms while considering platform requirements and responsive-design best practices.
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to ensure email creative is on-brand, clear, engaging, and aligned with campaign objectives.

Campaign & Concept Support

  • Collaborate with marketing, brand, and product teams to translate creative briefs into clear, compelling, and on-brand visual solutions.
  • Support concept development and creative execution for campaigns, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Work with the Creative Director and broader creative team to support integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Incorporate feedback thoughtfully and efficiently while maintaining creative quality and project timelines.

Additional Creative Support

  • Occasionally support light digital assets, including basic banners and social graphics, as needed.
  • Perform basic photo retouching and simple compositing for print and email applications.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming and contribute ideas that support campaign and brand objectives.
  • Help maintain the quality, consistency, and organization of the creative team's output and shared design assets.

Qualifications and Success Factors:

  • 1 - 3 years of professional design experience, preferably supporting wellness, supplements, health technology, consumer packaged goods, or direct-to-consumer brands.
  • Strong design foundation, including layout, typography, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience designing print materials, such as packaging, collateral, or inserts, as well as email campaign creative.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; familiarity with Figma is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively within established brand systems and guidelines.
  • Basic understanding of email-platform requirements, such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant brand, print, and email design work.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, production-ready creative.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic photo-retouching and compositing skills.
  • Familiarity with light digital and social asset creation.
  • Understanding of how creative execution supports brand consistency, customer engagement, and brand equity.
  • Experience working in a regulated or science-forward industry, such as health, wellness, supplements, or pharmaceuticals.

$30 - $40 an hour

What we Offer

We offer a base hourly rate of $30.00 - $40.00 based on your experience and skill set.
