As a network engineer on our team,you'llhelp the U.S. Army build andmaintaina reliable network to support critical training missions.You'llwork with soldiers, other SMEs, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape network requirements. You'll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware,you'llput your hardware and software talents togood use. You Have:

• Experience researching and recommending network and server hardware and software for large complex networks, developing,maintaining,and implementing network support, and archiving procedures

• Experience installing, designing, configuring, andmaintainingsystem hardware and software

• Experience implementing and managing network policies, procedures, and standards, and enforcing security procedures

• Experience monitoring, analyzing,troubleshooting,and evaluating hardware, software, and network problems

• Ability to meet with clients to plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications to ensure computer software and applications adhere to the organizational plan

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and up to 12 hours a day outside of normal work hours

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• Security+,CCNP, CCNA-Security,CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCPCertification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience administering accounts, creating organizational units, mapping users and computers, and assisting with creating or managing group policies within Active Directory

• Experience configuring,managing,andmaintainingvirtual servers, networks, and connected clients using VMware vSphere

• Experience using and configuring Cisco switches

• Experience with set up, networking,troubleshooting,and use of Army Mission Command Information Systems

• Experience with set up, networking, and troubleshooting of Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC)

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance isrequired.
