Job description

Manages all biomedical technicians, functions and activities within the assigned Piedmont Healthcare facility or facilities, including personnel management, regulatory compliance, customer service, and budget control. Ensures clinical equipment is repaired and maintained in the most cost effective manner and that it is accurate for clinical diagnosis. Responsible for EOC committee reports, surveys and inspections from JCAHO / DNV and other regulatory agencies. Assures strong customer service levels across department lines with good communication and relationships. Assists with aligning standard processes across the Piedmont Healthcare system.
Education
  • Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related Clinical Field. Required or

  • In Lieu of degree six (6) years of experience, beyond minimum experience Required
Work Experience
  • 5 years of experience within a healthcare setting with a minimum of three (3) years in a hospital setting. Experience within Biomedical Engineering. Required or

  • In lieu of degree 11 years of experience within a healthcare setting with a minimum of three (3) years in a hospital setting. Experience within Biomedical Engineering. Required

  • 1 year of supervisory or management experience Preferred
