Position Summary
Faculty Position in Pathology Description:
The Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) seeks an experienced educator in clinical pathology to teach medical students, physician assistant students, and students in associated biomedical programs.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
  • Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) seeks an Assistant Professor of Pathology to teach medical students, physician assistant students, and students in associated biomedical programs.
  • Candidates must have a strong interest in medical education and, as faculty, will focus on implementation and delivery of highly integrated, organ-systems-based curricula
  • This position is focused on Pathology education and student mentoring and academic support.
  • Scholarly activity in medical education and/or basic science or clinical research is encouraged.
  • Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
  • Candidate must be willing to teach in person on campus
  • Part-time work is possible

Minimum Qualifications
  • Candidates must hold a MD or PhD degree or their equivalent in clinical pathology, be board eligible/board certified, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Evidence of teaching excellence and commitment to professional development and leadership in education is essential.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Assistant/Associate Professor faculty rank.
  • Faculty with active research programs are encouraged to apply, although currently funded research activity is not a prerequisite.
