Job Summary

The Jr. Product Engineer (R&D) is responsible for supporting the research, development, testing, and improvement of products and manufacturing processes. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to assist in product design, prototyping, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and improvement of new and existing products.
  • Support product design, testing, validation, and documentation activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations teams during product development processes.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports, and engineering documentation.
  • Participate in prototype builds, product evaluations, and design verification activities.
  • Analyze product performance data and recommend improvements.
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective action implementations.
  • Assist with engineering change orders (ECOs) and document control activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate project records and development documentation.
  • Participate in meetings related to product development and project updates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field required.
  • 0–3 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or research & development preferred.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, product development processes, and manufacturing practices.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawing interpretation.
