General NotesThis position supports Dell Medical School's growing Clinical Engineering program and provides on-site support across ambulatory clinics and the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The role is primarily based at the Health Transformation Building and requires routine travel between Dell Medical School clinical locations within the Austin area.
This is a full-time, 100% on-site position based in Austin, Texas. Candidates must be local to the Austin area or willing to relocate prior to their start date.
This position participates in an on-call rotation supporting ASC operations, including occasional evenings, weekends, and after-hours support as operational needs require. Mileage reimbursement is available for approved travel between clinical sites. The role offers opportunities for continued professional development, including employer-supported training and industry certifications, as the Clinical Engineering program continues to expand.

PurposeThe Senior Bioengineering Analyst serves as a senior-level Clinical Engineering professional responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of biomedical equipment across Dell Medical School's ambulatory clinics and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). This role provides advanced technical support for medical devices through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, asset lifecycle management, equipment planning, vendor coordination, and operational readiness while partnering closely with clinical operations, IT infrastructure, integration teams, cybersecurity, supply chain, and external service providers.
As one of the foundational members of Dell Medical School's growing Clinical Engineering program, this position helps establish operational standards, improve equipment reliability, support medical device integration initiatives, and contribute to the long-term development of an in-house biomedical engineering team supporting both current ambulatory operations and future hospital expansion. The role requires a hands-on technical leader who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, and continuously improving clinical engineering operations.
ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Device Support & Technical Leadership

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex biomedical equipment failures and technical issues.

Serve as an escalation point for advanced clinical equipment support.

Develop and promote technical standards, best practices, and operational consistency across Clinical Engineering services.
