Job description

Sets detailed strategies for solution architecture/designs, as well as delivery of estimations for BHSF T&D projects. Strategizes with & leads other architects/designers from various disciplines to define the most cost-effective & efficient design. Must excel at planning, communicating & driving architecture, engineering & infrastructure while driving changes that increase tech performance & availability, reduce time to market, new capabilities across the enterprise, decrease complexity & optimize revenue & cost. Strategically analyzes current technologies used within BHSF to determine ways to improve & sets new strategies to follow as needed. Oversees documenting & monitoring requirements needed to institute proposed updates. Strategizes with & leads other Tech & Digital professionals within BHSF to ensure hardware is available for projects & working properly. Propose & establish framework for necessary contributions from various departments. Account for & mitigate possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources & scope. Strategize with & lead project & product management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives. Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions & determine best course of action. Define clear goals for all aspects of a project & manage their proper execution. Estimated salary range for this position is $159575.01 - $207447.51 / year depending on experience.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Master's degree required/ PhD Preferred in computer science, Engineering or related field and a minimum of 12 years of experience.
  • Proven project management knowledge and skills.
  • Healthcare/Hospital technology experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiar with hospital technologies like Nurse call, overhead systems in hospitals, patient monitoring systems.
  • Sets strategy in developing biomedical engineering architecture.
  • Advanced understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
  • Sets department strategy regarding software engineering and design architecture.
  • Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.
  • Professional experience working with and analyzing computer hardware and software.
