Job description
Key Responsibilities
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments using advanced imaging platforms (e.g., confocal microscopy, electron microscopy, fluorescence imaging, atomic force microscopy).
• Perform and optimize yeast cell culture for drug screen.
• Develop and apply enzymatic activity based assays to study drug function.
• Analyze and interpret imaging data using appropriate software and quantitative methods.
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and report results weekly.
• Prepare manuscripts, figures, and presentations for publication and conferences.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in experimental design and laboratory techniques.
• Ensure compliance with institutional safety and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong background in advanced microscopy techniques (e.g., confocal, electron, AFM, or live-cell imaging).
