Biomedical Engineering Faculty primarily focus on teaching students and conducting research within academic settings, often holding advanced degrees. In contrast, Biomedical Engineers work in industry or healthcare environments, applying engineering principles to develop medical devices, diagnostics, or treatments. While both roles require a strong background in biomedical engineering, faculty roles emphasize education and research, whereas biomedical engineers focus on practical application and product development.
