Job description

Looking for a biomedical engineer (BMET-2 or 3) to diagnose and repair clinical engineering equipment as well as perform electrical safety, preventative maintenance, and calibration on biomedical devices. Will work in a team atmosphere setting, in-house, managing medical assets for a top-rated area hospital network. The position is regionally centered in the NYC/LI/NJ area with related trips to our Yonkers and Stamford, CT warehouses.

Candidates should have 3 years of experience in the field; comparable durations in adjacent fields may be considered. Additional training and in-service will be provided in-house and via OEM. Education in biomedical, mechanical, or electrical engineering is a must, with biomedical engineering degrees given preferential consideration. If education is outside these parameters, the candidate should have a solid experience background in the industry. Though the position is regional (NYC/LI/NJ area), the candidate will have opportunity for business travel if they desire it via our locations and business throughout the East Coast.

Full-time position with top-rated benefits, competitive pay, and great company culture. Job sites at a top healthcare facility in NY with opportunities to travel. We are looking for a candidate for a long term with our organization, to grow with our national expansion and broaden their skill set.
