Job Overview

Leads hands-on innovation for medical devices, focusing on early-stage concept generation, feasibility, and translational research. Responsible for inventing and developing novel technologies and advancing them toward product development within a regulated environment.

 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's (preferred) or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or related technical field with 5+ years of experience. 
  • 3+ years in medical device R&D preferred
  • Experience in innovation and regulated environments

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong engineering fundamentals and minimally invasive medical device design
  • Prototyping and testing experience (CNC, 3D printing)
  • Knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485
  • Strong problem-solving and communication
  • CAD design in Solidworks

Salary range:  $120k - $135k
