  • Service members of any rank, both enlisted or officer may apply to internship for entry to mid-level positions. Senior levels are considered based on candidate's applicable industry and military transferable experience. Participants are not eligible for compensation from Boeing while on active duty and continue to receive military compensation and benefits.
  • Qualified candidates are matched and interviewed for specific roles and locations based off of business requirements to gain first-hand experience and insight into aerospace and defense business. Selected active duty US military members will perform in highly skilled roles prior to transitioning out of the military while on active duty to bridge the gap between valuable military service and civilian work experience through specific industry training with an industry partner during final 6 months of active duty service.

  • Learn a role / career similar to your job on Active Duty from Boeing statement of work perspective
  • Learn a Boeing role based on your chosen degree field, experience preferred., and may be required based on the actual job / role you are selected for.
  • Be prepared to learn and demonstrate the value your military experience brings to Boeing and your team.

TEMPORARY ROLE: Not to exceed 180 days

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Served at least 180 continuous days on active duty
  • Within 12 months of separation or retirement from the military
  • Able to start 180 days prior to separation or retirement from active duty
  • Active Secret Clearance or higher is required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree and/or demonstrated equivalency +4 years of relevant experience
  • Graduate degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
