Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on 3D Printing Technician to support and scale our production operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, takes pride in executing high-quality work, and is committed to safety, precision, and continuous improvement. Our ideal candidate enjoys working directly with equipment, production processes and solving problems on the floor, while ensuring every part meets our rigorous quality standards and stays on schedule.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain industrial 3D printing equipment to meet daily production targetsย 
  • Perform post-processing, inspection, and finishing operations to meet quality standardsย 
  • Execute preventative maintenance (PMs) and troubleshoot equipment issues as neededย 
  • Own production tasks end-to-end, with accountability for quality and throughput
  • Manage material handling, inventory tracking, and replenishmentย 
  • Support production planning and job tracking to ensure on-time deliveryย 
  • Conduct laser scanning and metrology-based inspection for validation and reverse engineering.ย 
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and operational proceduresย 
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve issuesย

Qualifications
ย Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalentย 
  • Ability to perform physical, hands-on production tasks consistently and safelyย 
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindsetย 
  • Mechanical/Technical skills
  • Must be a U.S. person*ย 
Preferred:

  • Experience with 3D printing / additive manufacturing technologiesย 
  • 2โ€“5 years of hands-on manufacturing or production experience (additive manufacturing preferred)ย 
  • Trade school, associateโ€™s, or bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practicesย 
  • Experience with machining, fabrication, or assembly environmentsย 
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)ย 
  • Exposure to laser scanning, metrology, or inspection toolsย
