We are seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at BioMechanics Orthopedics Services Inc., located in the heart of Blacksburg, Virginia. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping patients recover mobility and enhance their overall functionality through a comprehensive approach to treatment in our orthopedic outpatient practice.

BioMechanics Orthopedics Services Inc. is a leading provider of physical therapy services, specializing in orthopedic outpatient care. Our state-of-the-art 5000 square feet facility incorporates advanced sports medicine technology and methodologies, enabling our team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation to a diverse patient population. We operate with a patient-centered approach that emphasizes prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation.

This onsite position involves working in a collaborative and supportive outpatient office environment, where you will engage with a dedicated team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance, making it ideal for professionals seeking a rewarding and stable routine.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, recognizing their individual goals, needs, and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring a focused approach to each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques to provide effective, cost-efficient solutions for improving motion and mobility.
• Minimize reliance on medications and explore innovative non-surgical alternatives tailored to the patient’s unique conditions.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, communicating progress and treatment adjustments as necessary.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their treatment to help them achieve the highest level of function possible.
• Develop and promote fitness and wellness programs tailored to patients’ individual needs, guiding them toward healthier lifestyle choices.

Your expertise will primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, comprising athletes, active individuals, and those recovering from orthopedic conditions. Our clinic focuses on promoting recovery through individualized care pathways, enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination while minimizing downtime.

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid physical therapy license in Virginia with no prior disciplinary actions.
• Proficient manual therapy skills and the ability to design effective exercise routines.
• Experience using EMR software, specifically WebPT, demonstrating an ability to document and manage patient data efficiently.

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• A track record of success in developing and customizing treatment plans and exercise regimens.

This full-time position offers an attractive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000, supplemented with a comprehensive benefits package. Full benefits include health insurance, paid time off, continuing education opportunities, and retirement plans.
