Job description

My client is a global leader in regenerative medicine, a field that is reshaping how the world heals. This role puts you at the center of operations, owning the design and development of packaging solutions that protect life-changing biomaterials from production floor to patient. If you want your engineering work to carry real clinical weight, this is where to do it.

Why you should apply

  • Work for a global CDMO with manufacturing facilities across the US, Europe, and New Zealand...real scale, real impact
  • Own packaging engineering end-to-end: design, prototyping, validation, and continuous improvement
  • Cross-functional visibility - you'll collaborate across operations, quality, R&D, and supply chain
  • Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually

What you'll be doing

  • Select materials and develop packaging designs that minimize waste, reduce costs, and protect products through shipping and storage
  • Build and test packaging prototypes to meet required specifications
  • Write and maintain SOPs and guidelines for packaging operations across the organization
  • Lead validation work (IQ, OQ, PQ) and conduct feasibility studies for new packaging solutions
  • Analyze data, monitor industry trends, and drive continuous improvement in packaging processes

About you

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Comfortable applying process validation methodology (IQ, OQ, PQ) and statistical tools (Gage R&R, process capability) in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with CAD software and packaging-related design tools
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for packaging materials in a medical or life sciences context
  • Exposure to additive manufacturing, 3D printing, or packaging automation is a plus
