Your Role:
We're currently seeking a talented Research Associate to join our Analytical Development team as we develop innovative analytical methodologies for protein biologics. As a Research Associate in Analytical Development, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced analytical Scientists to identify and characterize protein biologics. Your focus will be to develop Cell-based, ELISA, HPLC, CE, PCR and/or SDS-PAGE methods, and you'll have the chance to interface with Quality Control as methods are transferred into that group for cGMP testing. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tasks to support the development, optimization, validation and routine testing of protein therapeutics via protein characterization techniques.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the following: ELISA, Cell-Based Assays, HPLC, CE, icIEF, PCR, SDS-PAGE
  • Document method development and validation activities according to current practices.
  • Assist in training analysts on new methods and transfer methods to cGMP Quality Control lab, as necessary.
  • Work in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
  • Provide regular updates to Process Development department and other functional teams as necessary.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in the Biological or Physical Sciences with 2+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles.
  • Experience with analytical method development using bioanalytical techniques
  • Should have experience with at least one of the following: ELISA, Cell-Based Assays, HPLC, CE, icIEF, PCR, SDS-PAGE

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in assay validation/ qualification as well as industry regulations that apply to job functions are a plus!

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a full-time onsite position. Days and hours of work are either Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; or Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. Ability to work overtime as necessary.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
