Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Clinical Surgery Coordinator RN, you will utilize your knowledge from biological, physical, and social sciences to assist the Manager in ensuring the effective delivery of nursing care.
Every day you will apply this specialized knowledge to support the coordination of surgical services, optimize patient flow, and ensure adherence to best practices in the surgical environment. You will contribute to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to facilitate seamless surgical operations and support the nursing team efficiently.

  • Provides skilled assistance to the Surgeon.
  • Discusses procedures with Surgeons to be certain the appropriate equipment is made available
  • Assists with individual operating room set up.
  • Assists with positioning, prepping and draping the patient.
  • Assure acquisition of specialty and/or consignment instrumentation, supplies, and equipment prior to scheduled procedures.
