ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY

SUMMARY: Currently searching for Student Research Associates to work in the College of Science. Research Associates will work under the supervision of assigned faculty members on research projects in remote sensing and computing, supported by funding from the Air Force Research Laboratory.

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):

The research associates will assist faculty with field, laboratory, and computer-based research tasks related to research projects in the area of UAV-based remote sensing applications. The research associates will assist in aspects of the project including but not limited to: training and meeting attendance, field data collection; data entry and storage; sorting, filing, and organizing all research materials and data; data coding; data analysis; report preparation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology with research experience.

Must be able to show proof of U.S. citizenship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or Master's program at Cal Poly Pomona.
