Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the Quality Control Department for a growing nutraceutical manufacturing company. This position is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, supervising QC personnel, ensuring GMP compliance, and maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional with strong leadership skills and a background in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or manufacturing environments.
Location: Miramar, FL
Salary: $90,000–$110,000.
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Manage all Quality Control laboratory operations.
  • Supervise and mentor the Quality Control team.
  • Review and analyze QC test results.
  • Monitor quality systems and laboratory performance.
  • Approve raw materials, components, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Review and approve product specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Oversee laboratory calibration programs and production measuring equipment.
  • Coordinate with external laboratories and calibration vendors.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the Quality department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related Science required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance supervisory experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with laboratory operations.
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
