Position Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver production-grade machine learning (ML) software products from end-to-end to ensure that Samsung Ads is a key player in the mobile ads market. Design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art and scalable machine learning models to achieve different optimization goals, such as ads click (pCTR), app-install optimization, ROAS optimization, and retention. Research the latest machine learning technologies with industry trends, create prototypes of new ML solutions quickly, and deploy the solution into production. Analyze complex problems with massive advertising data, identify gaps, and propose and execute technical proposals. Leverage prior experience working with machine learning libraries (including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Spark ML) as well as Big Data tools (MapReduce, Spark, Flink, and Kafka). Closely work with different internal ML teams (e.g., ML platform, ML serving, and MLOps teams) to improve Samsung's codebase and product health. Work with cross-functional partner teams in global settings to deliver new ML features and solutions and achieve business objectives. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Position Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or a related field and eight years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and five years of experience. Must have five years of experience in the following skills: (1) implementing advanced Excel functions, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and dashboards to consolidate sales and marketing data, track KPIs, and drive KPI improvements; (2) building, managing, and evolving KPI dashboards, aggregating data from Excel and Python, and analyzing sales performance and trends to recommend business decisions in real time; (3) validating, cleaning, aggregating, merging, and preparing data to support reporting, trend analysis, and to simulate scenario planning; and (4) applying time series techniques to understand seasonality, promotional impact, and demand patterns, improving forecast accuracy. Must have three years of experience in the following skill: (5) combining data from multiple data sources and internal systems, cleansing and transforming datasets, and preparing consistent, reliable data for analysis and reporting.

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week. Salary Range: $145,018/year to $155,018/year
